This website

We use no cookies, tracking services, externally loaded fonts or contact forms. Our hosting provider, ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany, processes technical connection data needed to serve the site, including IP address, request time and file, and device/browser information sent by your browser. This enables delivery, troubleshooting and website security (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our interest in secure, reliable operation). The servers are located in Germany.

Connection data is needed for transmission. If security or error logs are stored, retention depends on how long they are needed to detect and resolve faults or attacks. They are deleted when that purpose ends. A specific security incident may require longer retention for investigation and evidence.

Contact

If you email us, we process your sender details and message to respond (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, or (b) for contractual enquiries). We delete them when the enquiry is resolved, unless statutory retention or necessary legal proceedings require otherwise.

The app

Diary entries, notes and settings are stored locally; the diary database is encrypted. Best4Myself needs no account and does not automatically transmit your entries to us or a cloud. Optional reminders run locally; an optional app lock uses device authentication. You decide when to delete or export entries.

JSON, CSV and text exports are readable, unencrypted files. Notes are included by default and can be excluded. Full backups are password encrypted. Only when you choose to share a file through another app does the selected service process it under its own terms. Apple or Google’s privacy notices also apply to store downloads.

Your rights

Where provided by law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. Contact: support@tanael.lu. You may complain to a data-protection authority, including Luxembourg’s CNPD. We cannot access app entries stored only on your device; you manage them in the app.
